Flat bottom flasks are round flasks that are used for heating in distillation or other reagent reactions. They are not as durable as round bottom flasks but don't have the sharp and vulnerable corners of an Erlenmeyer Flask. Their flat bottoms do allow them to stand up on a hot plate, shelf, or table. One neck with a rimmed opening at the tip. Flat bottom flasks come in many sizes from 50 ml to 20 L. Currently stocked from 50ml to 1 000ml larger capacity flasks can be supplied on request.
