pH Test Paper - 80 Strips

A pH test strip is a strip of litmus paper with which you can measure the pH value of a liquid. The substance in the paper allows it to show a different colour at different acidities. This is determined by dipping part of the paper into a solution of interest and watching the color change. The package includes a color-coded scale indicating the pH that a solution has when the paper turns a certain color. For instance, if the paper turns a dark greenish-blue, the pH is likely be around 11 to 14.

The test strip color change must be matched with the pH scale color chart no longer than 15 seconds after it has been submerged to ensure accurate results. Quick and easy to use it provides reliable and accurate pH readings. With distinct color PH scale for result comparisons it is appropriate for testing alkaline or acid level of any liquid. Product Limitations and Restrictions

This universal pH indicator product is not recommended for testing urine, saliva, or cosmetic products due to specific accuracy limitations:

• Urine and Saliva Testing: Human body fluids operate within a highly sensitive, narrow pH spectrum (typically between 4.5 and 8.0). Because these general-purpose strips change colors in wide 1.0 pH increments, they completely lack the precision required to detect the subtle variations needed for medical or health tracking.
• Cosmetic Products: Skincare items like creams, lotions, oils, and serums are thick, opaque, or emulsified. Universal paper strips require thin, water-based liquids to absorb properly. Thick cosmetics simply coat the paper rather than chemically reacting with it, while tinted or colored formulas stain the strip and make the reference chart impossible to read accurately.

Instruction:

1. Simply press the testing strip to the object or liquid you are testing. After about a second, take the paper out, using the color chart included compare the color change of the paper to find out the acidity level of your test substance.
2. The results should be compared within 15 seconds to ensure accurate readings.
3. The strips cannot indicate the Acid or Alkali solution when it's density is lower than 0.01%.
4. Ensure after you remove a strip for testing, the rest of the booklet and test strips are stored in a clean and dry place.

The scale reads from pH 1 to 14:

• 1 - 3 indicates a very acidic substance
• 4 - 6 indicates an acidic substance
• 7 indicates neutral
• 8 - 11 indicates alkalinity
• 12 - 14 indicates a very high level of alkalinity
