Drechsel (Dreschel) glass gas washing bottle with interchangeable joint head and round base. Can be used to remove impurities from gasses. Inlet / Outlet Glass tubes measure 5mm inside diameter. Total height of the bottle is approx. 11 inches. Made of borosilicate glass.

Design:

  • Complete Set: Includes a reservoir bottle and a detachable head with an inlet and outlet tube.
  • Inlet/Outlet Tubes: Standard glass tubes measuring approximately 8 mm internal diameter.
  • Bubbling Action: The inlet tube extends to the bottom of the bottle to ensure gas bubbles through the liquid medium for maximum absorption or scrubbing efficiency.
Primary Applications
  • Gas Purification: Removing impurities (like moisture or specific vapors) from a gas stream by bubbling it through a scrubbing liquid.
  • Humidifying: Saturating a dry gas with water vapor.
  • Gas Washing: Removing acidic or alkaline vapors from gas emissions.
How to use a gas washing bottle
  1. Place the gas washing bottle in a secure place.
  2. Fill the bottle with the choice liquid.
  3. Grease the joints.
  4. Connect the tubing to the 2 external glass tubes from the bottle, with the gas entry tube to the long tube, and the gas exit to the shorter tube.
  5. Begin pumping gas through the bottle.
