What is a glass beaker?
A glass beaker is a cylindrical container with a flat base, a spout for easy pouring, and graduation marks for approximate volume measurement. It is the most widely recognised piece of laboratory glassware, found in virtually every school science classroom and professional laboratory.
Unlike volumetric flasks and graduated cylinders, beakers are not designed for precise volume measurement. Their value lies in versatility: you can mix, heat, stir, and pour with a single piece of equipment. SmartLabs stocks borosilicate glass beakers in low form, tall form, and double-walled jacketed designs, covering sizes from 10 ml up to 5000 ml.
