What is a dissecting board or tray?
A dissecting board or tray is the working surface a specimen is pinned to and cut on during dissection. Wooden boards give pins a firm grip in the bare timber, while wax-filled metal trays let pins push straight into the soft wax base without splitting or wearing out.
SmartLabs stocks both formats so you can match the surface to the specimen and clean-up routine of your Life Sciences practical, from school classrooms through to university labs.
