Vortex Mixers
A vortex mixer, or lab vortex, is a compact benchtop device that spins a small rubber cup in a tight circular motion to create a rapid swirling vortex inside a tube, mixing small volumes in seconds. Common in molecular biology, clinical, and general chemistry laboratories, a benchtop vortex mixer is the standard tool for quick, forceful mixing that a magnetic stirrer is not suited for.
SmartLabs stocks vortex mixers for microcentrifuge tubes and small test tubes, suited to schools, universities, clinical laboratories, and research facilities across South Africa. Whether resuspending a pellet, mixing a reagent, or preparing a clinical sample, a reliable vortex mixer speeds up routine lab work and fits neatly into any busy bench setup.
