Bunsen Burner Cartridge Type

• Flame Regulation: Most heads include a needle valve or gas control knob to adjust flame height and an adjustable air collar at the base to switch between a safety yellow flame and a roaring blue heating flame.
• Mounting Mechanism: Specifically designed for pierceable cartridges, these heads feature cartridge retaining clips or a shroud that clamps securely around the canister's shoulder to hold it in place while a central pin punctures the seal.
• Portability: Weighing approximately 130g to 220g, these heads eliminate the need for fixed gas lines, making them ideal for mobile lab setups or field work.
• Temperature: Can reach temperatures between 1300°C and 1550°C depending on the gas mix (butane/propane) and air regulation. 

• Standard Bunsen Head: Features a single vertical tube for general-purpose heating.

Important Safety Note: Once the head is attached and the 190g pierceable cartridge is punctured, it cannot be removed until the gas is completely empty, as these cartridges do not have self-sealing valves.
