A graduated cylinder, also known as a measuring cylinder or mixing cylinder, is a common piece of laboratory equipment used to measure the volume of a liquid. It has a narrow cylindrical shape, and each marked line represents the amount of liquid that has been measured. OMSONS Class B measuring cylinders with round bases are the workhorse instruments of the laboratory, designed for general-purpose liquid measurement where standard accuracy is sufficient and high-volume durability is required.

They're Class B accuracy (standard tolerance, usually twice the limit of Class A), made from high-quality Borosilicate 3.3 glass for excellent resistance to heat and aggressive chemicals, with a traditional round glass base for a classic look and easy cleaning. They're manufactured in accordance with ISO 4788 or IS:878, typically feature permanent blue enamel graduations that remain legible after repeated washing, and are calibrated "to contain" (TC/In) at a reference temperature, usually 27°C. Because the round base is more prone to rolling if tipped over, many labs use plastic safety bumpers (guard rings) around the neck to protect the glass.
