The Papermaking wall chart is a detailed and visually rich educational poster that explains the complete paper manufacturing process from tree to finished product. Designed for technology and natural sciences classrooms, this wall chart provides a step by step overview of how raw materials are transformed into paper while highlighting environmental management systems within a paper mill.

The chart begins with wood management, showing how trees are harvested from tree farms and transported to the pulp mill. Logs are debarked and chipped before entering the pulping process. In the digester, wood chips are mixed with water and chemicals and cooked to separate cellulose fibres from the rest of the wood. The pulp is then washed, screened, and sent for bleaching to whiten and clean the fibres.

Clear diagrams illustrate stock preparation, refining, and the papermaking stage on the Fourdrinier machine. The poster shows how pulp is sprayed onto a moving wire, where water drains away and the sheet is formed. The paper then moves through pressing and drying sections, followed by coating and calendaring to improve smoothness and quality. Finally, it is wound onto a jumbo reel and converted into finished products.

Environmental management is also emphasised, with sections on water supply management, chemical recovery, energy management, air emissions control, and waste water treatment. These elements demonstrate responsible manufacturing practices.

This educational poster combines process flow diagrams with labelled illustrations, making complex industrial papermaking concepts easy to understand and highly engaging for learners.

Our wallcharts are engineered for durability and educational impact, designed to withstand the rigors of both classroom and home environments.
