Class "B" volumetric flask is a piece of laboratory glassware used for preparing solutions for general lab use, educational purposes, and qualitative work. The Class “B" designation indicates that the flask a lower precision than Class “A” with a tolerance about twice that of Class “A” and the Class “B” flask is not supplied with a certificate. 

A volumetric flask (measuring flask or graduated flask) is a laboratory flask, calibrated to contain a precise volume at a certain temperature. Tolerance Limits: The maximum permissible error in volume for a Class A flask is very small.
