A volumetric (bulb) pipette designed to deliver a single, fixed volume of liquid with a standard level of accuracy. It features a single graduation mark (one-mark) and a central bulb reservoir, making it ideal for routine laboratory tasks and educational purposes where the extreme precision of Class A is not required.

Key Features

  • Material: High-quality Borosilicate 3.3 glass, known for its excellent resistance to thermal shock and chemical corrosion.
  • Accuracy Class: Class B, which has a capacity tolerance approximately twice that of Class A instruments.
  • Calibration: Calibrated "To Deliver" (TD, Ex) at a standard temperature of 20°C.
  • Design: Slender glass tube with a central bulb and a tapered tip to control flow rate.
  • Markings: Permanent, high-visibility markings (typically amber or blue) that are fused into the glass for durability.
  • Color Coding: Features standardized color-coded rings at the top for quick identification of the pipette's volume.
  • Sterilization: The borosilicate glass construction is fully autoclavable at 121°C.
  • Durability: Thick-walled glass with polished tips to resist chipping during regular lab use.

Recommended Use
  • General Laboratory Work: Suitable for routine reagent preparation and liquid transfer.
  • Educational Labs: Frequently used in schools and universities for teaching volumetric analysis.
  • Cost-Effective: A more economical choice compared to Class A when certified high-precision traceable measurements are not mandatory.
