Measuring beakers made of high-quality, heavy-duty polypropylene. Each beaker features a non-drip spout. Transparent with easy to read, raised graduations and specifications. Very good chemical resistance, autoclavable, with tapered spout.
Polypropylene plastic beakers can hold hot liquids but not be used over an open flame or electric hot plate. They are not suitable for use with strong acids,strong bases, or strong solvents that are known to degrade plastic. How to know?, if a chemical is sold in a glass chemical amber bottle, the chemical may not be compatalbe with plastic beakers.
Plastic beakers are used for mixing. The graduations are approximate and not intended for accurate liquid measurement.
