Human Stomach Model, 2 Parts, Three Dimensional

This human stomach model is a detailed 3D rendering of the stomach for studying its structure and function. Key anatomical parts are coloured and numbered for comparison with the English anatomy key card that is included, and the model is hand-painted for accurate colouring and detailing.

The model comes in 2 parts, to be mounted on a base. The stomach can be separated, so students can view the entire organ in one piece or as two sectional views that show the internal features. The pieces are held together magnetically.

Details identified: oesophagus, fundus, body, greater curvature, lesser curvature, angular notch, pyloric antrum, sulcus intermedius, eye pyloric canal, pylorus, duodenum, cardiac notch, longitudinal muscle of oesophagus, outer longitudinal muscle layer, middle circular muscle layer, oblique muscle, windows cut in middle of circular muscle, circular muscle of duodenum, gastro oesophageal junction, cardiac orifice, gastric folds, gastric canals, pyloric orifice and first part of duodenum.

The stomach (when pieced together, and not including the base) measures 14cm wide, 16.5cm long and approximately 3.5cm tall. The base measures 12.5cm wide, 12.5cm long and 2.5cm high. The total height of the model when assembled is 19cm.
