Laser Pen

This laser pen is a light, inexpensive laser pointer for ray optics demonstrations, simple diffraction work and pointing things out during a presentation. You can choose red (650nm), green (532nm) or purple (405nm) light.

You don't have to hold the button down. Press it once and the pen stays on, then press again to switch it off, so both hands stay free while you set up mirrors, lenses or a diffraction grating. On a projected image or a slide it doubles as a handy presentation pointer.

Available colours

• Red light: 650nm, 5mW
• Green light: 532nm, 5 to 10mW
• Purple light: 405nm, 5mW

Caution: laser light. Never stare into the beam or look at it through optical instruments.
