Measuring Cylinders a durable, translucent laboratory instruments designed for moderate-precision liquid measurement. They are specifically engineered with a hexagonal base to provide superior stability and prevent accidental tipping or rolling on laboratory benches. 

Key Specifications
  • Material: High-quality, translucent Polypropylene (PP), offering excellent chemical resistance to most acids, bases, and common solvents.
  • Accuracy: Class B classification, providing moderate accuracy suitable for general laboratory work, educational purposes, and industrial use.
  • Graduations: Features large, molded-in graduations that are easy to read and resistant to fading or smudging from repeated washing or sterilization.
  • Sterilization: Fully autoclavable at 121°C (15 psi) for approximately 20 minutes.
  • Design: Includes a tapered, non-drip spout for smooth, controlled pouring and a wide rim for easy filling.
  • Limitations: Not suitable for use over an open flame or electric hot plate. They have poor resistance to strong oxidizers, aromatic hydrocarbons (like benzene), and certain chlorinated solvents.
  • Safety: The plastic construction eliminates the risk of broken glass accidents, making them ideal for educational or high-traffic environments.
