OMSONS weighing bottles in squat form are small, shallow glass containers designed for the precise weighing of solid samples, such as powders or crystalline chemicals, on an analytical balance. The low-profile shape gives a low centre of gravity, for maximum stability during handling and weighing.

They're made from high-quality Borosilicate 3.3 glass, offering excellent chemical resistance and thermal stability for drying samples in an oven, in a low form (squat) design with a wide base and a precision-ground interchangeable glass stopper. The wide mouth allows easy sample addition without spilling, while the airtight seal stops the absorption of atmospheric moisture, which matters for hygroscopic substances.

They're used for gravimetric analysis (accurate determination of mass in quantitative chemistry), oven drying (safe for heating to remove moisture from samples before a final weight), and sample transfer, allowing a weighed substance to be moved into a reaction vessel or volumetric flask without loss of material.
