A burette is a graduated glass tube with a tap at one end, for delivering known volumes of a liquid, especially in titrations. It is a long, graduated glass tube, with a stopcock at its lower. The flow of liquid from the tube to the burette tip is controlled by the stopcock valve.

Class A burette with single straight bore. Interchangeable PTFE key stopcock with blue ceramic graduations. Accuracy as per DIN ISO 385. This unit requires no lubrication and is sealed with a simple nut and ‘O’ ring mechanism.

Key Performance Specifications
  • Compliance & Calibration: Meets DIN ISO 385 and USP (United States Pharmacopeia) standards, as well as IS 1997:2008. This makes them suitable for pharmaceutical and ISO-certified environments.
  • PTFE Key (Straight Bore): The stopcock uses a self-lubricating PTFE plug.
    • Advantage: It is completely grease-free, preventing sample contamination and ensuring the valve never "freezes" or leaks due to grease breakdown.
  • Accuracy (Class A): These instruments provide the tightest possible tolerances (e.g., ±0.05 mL for a 50mL burette).
  • Traceability: Each burette is issued with a Batch Certificate, allowing you to document the specific calibration results for your quality management system.

Customization Options
  • Printing Colors:
    • White/Blue: Best for clear or dark-colored liquids.
    • Amber: Often used for light-sensitive titrants to prevent degradation during the process.
  • Chemical Resistance: The Borosilicate 3.3 glass body combined with the PTFE key creates an assembly that is nearly inert to all acids, bases, and solvents.

Accuracy and Tolerance (ISO 385 Class A)

Capacity Graduation Tolerance (±)
10 mL 0.05 mL 0.02 mL
25 mL 0.10 mL 0.05 mL
50 mL 0.10 mL 0.05 mL
