Apron - Disposable Plastic - White

This disposable white plastic apron is a standard piece of personal protective equipment (PPE) used in laboratories, medical facilities, food processing and school science clean-ups.

It's made from lightweight polyethylene and acts as a water-resistant barrier that protects your clothing and skin from chemical splashes, biological stains and liquid waste during jobs like agar plate disposal.

Key Features

• Design: One-piece apron that slips over the head, with waist ties at the back. It usually covers you from the chest to below the knees.
• Colour: White, so accidental chemical splatters, bacterial fluids or bleach drops are easy to spot straight away.
• Single-use: Made to be thrown away straight after a task, to stop microbes or hazardous liquids spreading from one area to another.

Safe Removal (Doffing)

To avoid transferring contaminants from the front of the apron to your hands or clothes when your lab work is done, follow this sequence:

1. Snap the neck strap by pulling it gently forward, or untie it if it has loops.
2. Snap or untie the waist straps.
3. Roll the apron down and away from your body, inside out, so the contaminated front stays tucked inside the roll.
4. Put it straight into the designated lab waste bin and wash your hands thoroughly.
