Apron - PVC

This PVC apron is a thick, heavy-duty, reusable protective garment made for demanding industrial, chemical and commercial work. Unlike thin, single-use polyethylene aprons, it's made from robust vinyl or PVC-coated polyester fabric that stands up to punctures, harsh chemicals and abrasion.

Primary Applications

1. Chemical handling and laboratory use: A solid physical barrier against acid splashes, concentrated alkalis and organic solvents. It's widely used for bulk decontamination work, such as cleaning chemical spills or disposing of hazardous biological waste.
2. Food processing and agriculture: Well suited to meat packing plants, commercial fisheries and industrial kitchens. The thick PVC stops animal fats, blood, oils and grease soaking through to your clothes.
3. Industrial cleaning and sanitation: Good for high-pressure washing, sanitation shifts and deep cleaning with industrial detergents, wastewater and heavy grime.
4. Maintenance and workshops: Protects mechanics and manufacturing workers from lubricants, coolants and sharp metal debris.

Specifications

• Material thickness and weight: 700 gsm (grams per square metre), or about 0.55mm thick.
• Size: About 70cm x 110cm, covering you from the upper chest to below the knees.
• Fastening: Heat-sealed plastic or brass eyelets at the neck and waist hold adjustable webbed PVC or cotton straps, so the apron is secured without tearing the main fabric.
• Industry colours: PVC aprons are also made in industry-specific versions, such as the white blood and fat apron (butcheries and meat processing), green or yellow chemical aprons (laboratory and plant sanitation) and black or blue heavy industrial aprons.
