This 105° receiving adapter with a drip tip tube (standard ground cone to socket) is also called a bent or delivery adapter. It connects the end of a condenser to a receiving flask, and is designed to bridge a condenser and a Buchner filter flask (or other deep vessel), so the distillate is delivered deep inside the flask to prevent splashing or evaporation.
