Büchner Funnel, Glass, Porosity G3

Büchner funnels are used in the laboratory for vacuum-assisted liquid filtering. In organic chemistry, these funnels are used to collect recrystallized compounds because they help remove moisture from the final product.

This Büchner funnel is made of high quality, heavy duty 3.3 borosilicate glass, with a sintered disc of G-3 porosity and a jointed stem to fit ground socketed flasks such as a round boiling flask or Büchner flask.

The 500ml funnel has an inner body diameter of 95mm and an outer diameter of 100mm. The stem measures 11.5cm in length with an 8mm inner diameter. G3 filtration pore diameter is 15-40 micron.
