This Buchner funnel is made from borosilicate glass, with a sintered (fritted) glass disc, a standard ground-glass cone (I/C) on the stem and a built-in vacuum hose barb. It's designed for vacuum filtration where you need a secure, airtight connection to a filtering flask.

  • Pressure rating: For vacuum work like Buchner filtration, use heavy-wall vacuum tubing (usually rubber or silicone) so the tube doesn't collapse under suction.
