The 24/40 Single Cow Adapter with a PTFE Valve and Viton Gaskets is a heavy-duty distribution adapter used primarily in Short Path Distillation. It is designed to regulate vacuum levels and control the flow of distillate into a receiving flask without breaking the vacuum.

  • Glass Material: Constructed from 3.3 Borosilicate glass, which is highly resistant to thermal shock and chemical corrosion.
  • Valve: Equipped with a PTFE (Teflon) open/close valve for a grease-free, airtight seal.
  • Gaskets: Typically includes three Viton gaskets on the PTFE valve and one Viton gasket on the drain port to ensure high chemical resistance and prevent leaks.
  • Vacuum Ports: Often features one 24/40 vacuum port and one GL16 vacuum release port for precise pressure management.
