This vacuum cow receiver (3 x 24/40) is a heavy-duty single cow adapter with a PTFE valve and Viton gaskets, used mainly in short path distillation. It controls the vacuum and the flow of distillate into the receiving flasks without breaking the vacuum.

  • Glass: 3.3 borosilicate glass, highly resistant to thermal shock and chemical corrosion.
  • Valve: A PTFE open/close valve for a grease-free, airtight seal.
  • Gaskets: Typically three Viton gaskets on the PTFE valve and one Viton gasket on the drain port, for high chemical resistance and no leaks.
  • Vacuum ports: Often one 24/40 vacuum port and one GL16 vacuum release port for precise pressure control.
