Double Necked Flask (Two Neck Boiling Flask or Two Neck Round-Bottom Flask) made of borosilicate glass. Joint neck allows for connection to distillation apparatus or other glassware adapters. Angled neck useful for refilling or inserting a thermometer with a thermometer adapter. Recommended to use with Glassware Joint Clips to hold glassware connectors, adapters, and distillation connectors firmly in place while in use.

- Material: High-duty Borosilicate 3.3 Glass, providing excellent thermal shock resistance.
- Joints: Equipped with interchangeable ground glass conical joints (sockets) for vacuum-tight connections.
- Capacities: Commonly available from 100 ml up to 20,000 ml (20L).
- Typical Joint Sizes: Combinations such as 24/29 center with 19/26 side joints are standard.
- Angular Necks: The center neck is vertical, while the two side necks are 180° apart and inclined at a 20° angle. This is ideal for adding reagents via dropping funnels or inserting thermometers without interfering with a central condenser.
- Parallel Necks: The center neck and both side necks are vertical and parallel to each other. This setup is often preferred for mechanical stirring where multiple vertical shafts or probes are required.
- Space Management: The 20° tilt of the side neck provides extra room to attach bulky equipment (like a large dropping funnel) without it hitting the apparatus in the center neck.
- Ease of Addition: The angled side neck makes it easier to add liquids or powders manually while the flask is positioned under a fume hood or inside a heating mantle.
- Probing: It is the preferred design for inserting thermometers or gas inlet tubes, as the angle allows the probe to reach towards the center of the flask's boiling liquid.
