A Dr. Schilling Burette is a specialized, automatic laboratory instrument designed for rapid, safe, and highly repeatable titrations. It features an integrated self-filling design that eliminates the traditional, tedious method of pouring titrants from the top using a funnel. Instead, the glass burette is mounted directly onto a flexible plastic reservoir bottle.

• Automatic Zero Adjustment: Squeezing the plastic bottle forces liquid up into the glass column. Any excess liquid filled past the zero mark automatically drains back down into the reservoir.
• Precise Dosing Mechanism: Typically uses a micro-screw or a spring-loaded pinchcock/push-button valve. This gives the user exact control to dispense liquids drop-by-drop.
• Safety Construction: Often manufactured out of chemical-resistant Borosilicate 3.3 glass. High-tier variants include an outer plastic coating for advanced shatter protection.
