The OMSONS Clevenger Apparatus (Essential Oil Determination Unit) is a specialized laboratory assembly used to extract volatile oils from plant material via steam distillation. It is manufactured from Borosilicate 3.3 glass, which is essential for withstanding the high temperatures and thermal stress of long extraction cycles.
 
How the System Works
The unit operates on the principle of continuous steam distillation. Plant material is boiled in a flask, and the steam carries the essential oils into a condenser. The mixture then drips into a specialized graduated receiver that automatically separates the oil from the water.
