A Glass Evaporation Dish (Flat-bottom with spout, Boro 3.3) is a shallow, heat-resistant laboratory vessel used to evaporate solvents from a solution, leaving behind a concentrated liquid or solid residue. The Borosilicate 3.3 glass construction ensures high resistance to thermal shock and chemical attack.

Recommended Use

  • Quantitative Analysis: Ideal for obtaining dissolved solids from a liquid sample.
  • High-Heat Applications: The flat bottom provides excellent heat transfer from hot plates, liquids should not exceed two-thirds of the dish's volume during heating to prevent splashing.
