Filter Paper

Arco Student Grade Filter Paper is a qualitative filter paper specifically designed for basic educational demonstrations and routine laboratory tasks. It is an economical choice for schools, offering consistent performance for general filtration where high-precision gravimetric analysis is not required. 

Note: Not all papers are packed in boxes as pictured due to the size of the filter paper. 

• Educational Demonstrations: Ideal for teaching filtration principles, such as separating sand from water or identifying precipitates in basic chemistry.
• General Lab Work: Used for clarifying liquids, sample preparation, and routine separations in biology and chemistry.

• Not for Quantitative Work: Because of its ash content, it is unsuitable for precise gravimetric analysis where the filter must be burned away completely.
• Vacuum Filtration: It is generally not designed for high-pressure vacuum filtration, where "wet-strengthened" or hardened papers are required to prevent tearing.
