Buchner Funnel Rubber Cones - Natural Rubber set of 7

This set of 7 tapered filter adapter cones creates an airtight seal between a vacuum filtration flask and a Büchner funnel. They're engineered for a tight, flexible fit, replacing the need to bore custom holes in standard rubber stoppers, and can be used individually or nested sequentially to fit a wide range of neck diameters.

They're made from natural rubber, which gives exceptional flexibility, elastic recovery and a tight seal under vacuum pressure, and come as a sequential set of 7 sizes (typically Size 1 to Size 7) to fit varying laboratory glassware. The tapered collar matches the internal slope of filtration flask necks to prevent slipping during active decompression.

Natural rubber is highly resistant to aqueous solutions, dilute acids and alkaline solutions, but has poor resistance to hydrocarbons, fats, oils and greases. Contact with these substances can cause swelling, softening or complete dissolution of the rubber, so avoid contact with hydrocarbons, essential oils and concentrated organic solvents.
