Flask Round Bottom, Angled Shape, Two Necks

Multi-neck boiling flask characterized by its oblique (angled) side neck and round bottom design. It is manufactured from high-quality Borosilicate 3.3 glass, which provides excellent resistance to thermal shock and chemical corrosion.

• Material: High Borosilicate 3.3 Glass.
• Design: Round bottom for uniform heating and oblique (angled) side neck to accommodate multiple laboratory apparatus components like condensers or thermometers. The spherical bottom provides uniform heating and greater stability under vacuum, as the stress is more evenly distributed across the surface compared to a flat bottom flask.
• Ground Joints: Features standard taper ground mouths to ensure leak-proof connections with other ground-glass laboratory equipment.
• Thermal Properties: Strain Temperature: 520°C. Softening Temperature: 820°C. Thermal Shock Resistance: Up to 300°C

• Stability: Due to their round base, they cannot stand on their own and require the use of a cork ring or a specialized flask stand/clamp for support when not part of an assembled apparatus. 
• Temperature monitoring: A thermometer or temperature probe can be inserted via the angled neck (often using an adapter or "thermometer pocket," which is a glass jacket designed to securely hold the thermometer) to accurately measure the internal temperature of the substance without compromising the sealed system.

• Distillation: Used as the distilling flask or receiving flask in distillation setups.
• Reflux: Serves as the reaction vessel when a condenser is attached for a reflux procedure.
• Chemical Reactions: Ideal for general heating, mixing, and reactions where an airtight seal is necessary to contain vapors or maintain an inert atmosphere.
