Haemocytometer

A haemocytometer is a specialised counting chamber used to determine the concentration of cells or other microscopic particles in a liquid suspension. This model uses the improved Neubauer pattern, with two counting grids separated by a central trough, each divided into 400 squares of 0.05mm x 0.05mm.

Commonly used in biology and life sciences labs for blood cell counts, yeast counts, and general microbiology work, the sample is loaded under the cover slip and viewed under a microscope. Includes 22mm x 22mm cover slips (x2).
