HEATING AND STIRRING 2L

The JOANLAB HS5C is a digital hotplate magnetic stirrer that heats and stirs up to 2 litres at once. The hot plate reaches 280°C and the speed runs from 200 to 1,500 rpm in 10 rpm steps. You set the temperature with the left knob and the speed with the right, and read both on the digital display.

It's built for heating and stirring liquids, and solid-liquid mixtures with low viscosity. It has a built-in PT1000 sensor and also takes an external PT1000 probe, so it can control the liquid itself to ±1°C rather than just the plate (±3°C). Over-temperature protection is built in.
