This heating mantle uses heat resisting alkali-free glass fibre as the insulating material and a sealed nickel-chromium alloy resistance heating wire. It has a large heating area, heats up quickly and evenly without a flame, is light and energy saving, and is safe and less destructive on glass apparatus. It heats from room temperature to 380°C.
