Heating Mantles, Analogue

An analogue heating mantle for round-bottom flasks. You set the power with a knob and a microprocessor-based regulator keeps it steady, so there's no open flame near flammable solvents and the flask heats evenly.

The heating element is knitted into glass fibre yarn, which wraps heat around the bottom and sides of the flask. It reaches about 400°C. This model heats only: it has no magnetic stirrer. Pick the size that matches your flask, from 100mL to 2000mL.
