The Latitude Compact Bench Scale is built for everyday production, warehouse, and field weighing, not lab-grade precision, but genuinely useful accuracy backed by checkweighing, percentage weighing, and parts-counting modes. Rugged ABS housing, a sealed keypad, and a grade 304 stainless steel pan mean it copes with dust, spills, and daily industrial handling.

Built for the shop floor, not just the bench

Display and modes

The backlit LCD uses 24mm-high digits for a clear readout, and checkweighing LEDs show at a glance whether a load is under, within, or over your target range, backed by an audible alarm. A hold function freezes the display so you can record a result without the reading drifting.

Power and connectivity

An internal rechargeable battery runs for up to 240 hours per charge and tops up over any USB power source, a wall adapter, a vehicle's USB port, or a power bank. Adam Connect adds Bluetooth data transfer to printers and PCs when you need to log results.

Where you'll actually use it

  • Food processing and production lines, using percentage and checkweighing modes
  • Manufacturing and warehouse operations, including parts counting for small components
  • Postage and shipping weight checks
  • Field use, thanks to the rechargeable battery's 240-hour runtime

Choosing your capacity

The LBX comes in four capacities: 3000g at 0.5g readability, 6000g at 1g, 12000g at 2g, and 30000g at 5g. All four share the same 180 x 245mm pan, so choose based on the heaviest single item you expect to weigh regularly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the LBX scale run on batteries or does it need to stay plugged in?

It has a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts up to 240 hours on a full charge, so you can move it around the workshop or floor without trailing a cable. A USB adapter is included for charging and for running it plugged in.

How accurate is the LBX compared to a lab balance?

It's built for general bench and industrial weighing rather than lab-grade precision. Depending on the model you'll get readability from 0.5g up to 5g, which is plenty for parts counting, shipping, or basic quality checks, but it's not a substitute for an analytical balance.

Can I use the LBX outdoors or in a dusty warehouse?

The keypad is sealed against dust and spills, and the operating range is 0°C to 40°C, so it copes fine with a typical warehouse or workshop. It's not IP-rated for washdown or heavy moisture though.

What is checkweighing, and how does it work on the LBX?

The LBX has built-in checkweighing: you set an acceptable weight range, and LEDs, backed by an audible alarm, show whether a load is under, within, or over that range at a glance. It's handy for quality control or filling to a target weight without watching the exact number every time.
