This LCD digital microscope is an all-in-one biological imaging system that combines traditional optical microscopy with a built-in digital screen. It's designed to prevent neck strain during long lab sessions by giving you a high-definition display to work from. With a high-resolution camera sensor, several ways to connect and quality optics, it makes viewing easy to share in modern science classrooms and labs.
Specifications
It has a sturdy all-metal frame and several data output options:
- Display: 9-inch digital LCD screen (1024 x 600 resolution).
- Camera sensor: 2K (4.0 megapixel) 1/3-inch CMOS sensor.
- Capture resolution: Up to 12MP photos and 1080p video.
- Total magnification: 105x to 2625x on screen.
- Objectives: Achromatic 4x, 10x, 40x (spring) and 100x (oil, spring).
- Nosepiece and head: Quadruple nosepiece and a 360° rotating trinocular head inclined at 30°.
- Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine adjustment knobs, with a fine division of 0.008mm.
- Connectivity: Built-in 2.4G Wi-Fi (for Android/iOS app control), HDMI 1080p monitor output and USB Type-C for PC connection.
- Storage: 8GB TF card included, expandable up to 64GB.
- Illumination: Dual adjustable LEDs (1W bottom transmitted / 0.06W top reflected) with a 50,000-hour lifespan.
- Build: Strong metal body, net weight 3.5kg, main body 19 x 14 x 48cm.
- Country of origin: China
Common Applications
With its flexible outputs and range of objectives, this microscope suits many fields:
- School and clinical classrooms: Teachers can stream a live sample to several students at once over Wi-Fi or HDMI.
- Medical laboratories: Standard blood analysis, smear observations and routine cell counts.
- Biological research: High-magnification botanical, zoological and microbiological work.
- Quality control and materials inspection: Spotting tiny faults in textiles, paper fibres or synthetic materials using the top LED light.
- Veterinary science: Easy checks of parasite samples and fluid cultures on the built-in screen.
Warranty and Repair
Every digital microscope includes a one-year manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase. This is a return-and-repair warranty: the manufacturer will repair any covered defects in materials or workmanship. If the technical team finds a returned unit can't be repaired, a replacement unit or another solution will be provided under the same one-year warranty.
Please note that the warranty doesn't cover the cost of returning the microscope. Customers are responsible for all shipping, freight and insurance costs to get the unit to the repair facility.
The warranty covers normal operating defects and excludes:
- Accidental drop damage: Physical damage to the LCD screen, internal alignment or metal frame caused by drops, falls or careless transport.
- Oil lens misuse: Scratches, permanent cloudiness or internal damage to the 100x objective caused by incorrect oil use, not cleaning after use or using unapproved immersion fluids.
Operating Conditions
- Room temperature: Keep between 0°C and 40°C (32°F to 104°F). Big temperature swings can cause the optical glass to expand or condensation to form on the 2K CMOS sensor.
- Humidity: Keep below 85% (non-condensing). High humidity can let moisture build up inside the 9-inch LCD and encourages fungus on the objectives.
- Air quality: Use in a dust-free, smoke-free and chemical-vapour-free area to protect the optical coatings and metal parts from corrosion.
- Surface: Place on a rigid, level, vibration-free lab bench. Vibration or an uneven surface can unsettle the mechanical stage and strain the fine focus.
Storage
- Dust protection: Cover the microscope with the supplied anti-static dust cover once it has cooled. Dust on the screen or internal prisms reduces image clarity.
- Moisture: Store the covered microscope in a sealed cabinet, with 2 to 3 fresh silica gel sachets under the dust cover to absorb moisture.
- Climate: Keep the storage room between -20°C and +55°C (-4°F to 131°F) with non-condensing humidity under 85%. Never store it near windows, heaters or cabinets holding volatile acids.
