This LCD digital stereo microscope has a built-in 11.6-inch high-clarity LCD monitor and works as a 4K digital stereo microscope for industrial and lab use. It combines live microscopic examination with ultra-high-definition digital imaging, using an 8.0MP 1/1.8" CMOS sensor behind the large built-in display.

Working from a screen takes away the strain of long sessions at a traditional dual-eyepiece microscope, and makes it easier to share what you're seeing. With continuous 0.7x to 4.5x optical zoom and WiFi 6 networking, you can measure, capture and stream 4K video at 60 frames per second, which makes it a strong fit for manufacturing floors, research labs and connected digital classrooms.

Technical Specifications

The system pairs precision stereo optics with a capable multimedia processor:

Optical and Mechanical

  • Optical zoom: Continuous 0.7x to 4.5x stereo zoom body.
  • Head: Trinocular optical head with widefield WF10x/20mm eyepieces.
  • Camera adapter: A 0.5x C-mount adapter for exact sensor alignment.
  • Stand: Heavy-duty B8L pole LED stand with an A1 focusing holder.
  • Dimensions: Base 205 x 275 x 40mm; pole 240mm tall with a 32mm outer diameter.
  • Lighting: Dual 3W adjustable top and bottom LED lights.

Digital Imaging

  • Display: 11.6-inch high-clarity LCD monitor.
  • Camera sensor: 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor with true 8.0 megapixel live images.
  • Live output: 3840 x 2160 (4K) at 60fps over HDMI.
  • Photo capture: 16MP photos with 10x digital zoom.
  • Connectivity: HDMI, USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 ports and WiFi 6.
  • On-board measurement: Built-in S-Eye software works with a USB keyboard and mouse for measuring, drawing and annotating without a PC.
  • PC software: USB 3.0 output streams to a computer running S-Eye or ImageView software, with extended depth of field (EDF), live image stitching and calibration tools.
  • Networked classrooms: WiFi 6 streams live images to phones and tablets. The system supports synchronised digital classrooms linking up to 60 microscopes and cameras at once.
  • Power: Standard DC 12V / 2A external power adapter.
  • Included accessories: HDMI cable, high-speed USB cable, mouse and power supply.
  • Country of origin: China

Common Applications

The stereo depth of field and measurement software make this network-ready microscope well suited to:

  • Electronics manufacturing and micro-soldering: Inspecting multi-layer PCBs, checking trace defects and wire bonding, and doing fine soldering directly on the 11.6-inch lag-free screen.
  • STEM and digital classrooms: Schools can run interactive labs where up to 60 students stream, capture and study live biological or geological specimens on their own tablets over WiFi 6.
  • Precision engineering and metrology: Checking machine parts, medical devices and tool alignment using the mouse-driven calibration, crosshair overlay and edge detection tools.
  • Gemmology and watchmaking: A generous working distance and clear stereo view for spotting gemstone inclusions, checking engravings and repairing small mechanical parts.
  • Forensics and materials science: Comparing fabric weaves, tool marks and organic evidence, and building layered composite images with the software's stitching and extended depth of field (EDF) tools.

Warranty

The LCD digital stereo microscope includes a one-year manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase. This is a return-and-repair warranty: the manufacturer will repair any covered defects in materials, mechanics or the digital sensor. If the technical team finds a returned unit can't be repaired because of a manufacturing defect, a replacement unit or another solution will be provided under the same one-year warranty.

Please note that the warranty doesn't cover the cost of returning the microscope. Customers are responsible for all shipping, freight, customs and insurance costs to get the unit to the repair facility.

The warranty covers normal lab and industrial operating defects and excludes:

  • Accidental drop damage: Physical damage to the 11.6-inch LCD panel, internal beam splitter, A1 focus holder, pole stand or camera housing caused by drops, knocks or careless moving.
  • Optical misuse: Scratches, cracks or coating damage on the 0.7x to 4.5x zoom objectives, the WF10x/20 eyepieces or the 0.5x C-mount adapter caused by incorrect cleaning, harsh solvents or abrasive materials.

Normal Operating Conditions

Environment

  • Room temperature: Keep between 0°C and 40°C (32°F to 104°F). Outside this range the optical glass can expand, the stage can drift and the 4K processor can slow down to protect itself.
  • Humidity: Keep below 85% (non-condensing). High humidity can let moisture build up inside the 11.6-inch LCD, corrode the HDMI/USB 3.0 ports and encourage fungus on the 0.7x to 4.5x zoom optics.
  • Air quality: Use in a low-dust, low-smoke, chemical-vapour-free area. In welding or soldering areas, use proper fume extraction to stop acidic or metallic film building up on the optics and metal parts.

Power and Placement

  • Power supply: Use the original DC 12V/2A power adapter, plugged into a stable, earthed outlet (110V to 240V, 50/60Hz input). Uncertified power supplies or power surges can void warranty cover on the motherboard and WiFi 6 components.
  • Surface: Place on a rigid, level, vibration-free lab or workshop bench. Stereo microscopes are used for precision assembly and measurement, so vibration will unsettle the focus and throw off measurements in the S-Eye software.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I measure on screen without a computer?

Yes. The built-in S-Eye software takes a mouse and keyboard, so you can measure, draw and annotate on the 11.6 inch screen on its own.

What does Wi-Fi 6 add?

Live streaming to phones and tablets, and the hardware links up to 60 microscopes and cameras for a networked classroom.

Is the 4K output real 4K?

Yes, 3840 x 2160 at 60 fps over HDMI, from an 8 MP 1/1.8 inch sensor. Photos capture at 16 MP.

What work is it built for?

Board-level electronics and micro-soldering, precision inspection and measurement, gemstones and watch repair, and specimen work in a classroom or lab.
