Starter Magnetism Kit

A basic, entry-level kit for hands-on magnetism experiments: attraction, repulsion, and poles. This is a low-cost kit for a first look at magnets, not a precision instrument.

• Horseshoe magnet x1 (colour-coded N/S)
• Bar magnet x1 (marked N/S)
• Magnetic rings x2 (for a simple levitation experiment)
• Oval magnets x2
• String and a fishing stick x1 set (for a magnetic fishing game)
• Card lion cutout x1 (for testing how far a magnetic field reaches through paper)

What it's for

Sort classroom or household objects into magnetic and non-magnetic, test which poles attract and which repel, stack the magnetic rings to see them push apart, and use the string and stick to go fishing for the lion cutout without touching it.
