Measuring Cylinder - Polypropylene

Measuring cylinder made from high-quality, heavy-duty polypropylene plastic, with a non-drip spout and raised, easy-to-read graduations. Chemical-resistant and autoclavable, with a tapered spout for accurate pouring.

Polypropylene can hold hot liquids but must not be used over an open flame or electric hot plate. It is not suitable for strong acids, strong bases, or solvents known to degrade plastic. As a rule of thumb, if a chemical is sold in an amber glass bottle, it may not be compatible with a plastic measuring cylinder.

A plastic measuring cylinder is a laboratory instrument used to measure the volume of liquids and chemicals accurately. It's a tall, cylindrical container with a pouring spout and a graduated scale etched onto the side to indicate volume.
