Meter Ruler

This metre ruler, also called a meter ruler, metre rule or meter stick, is the standard 1m rule for measuring length in the science classroom and lab. It reads in centimetres with millimetre divisions, and you can choose wood or plastic.

There are three options in the drop-down:

• 1 metre wooden ruler, reading cm with mm divisions
• 1 metre plastic ruler, reading cm with mm divisions
• Half-metre (0.5m) wooden ruler with large figures

A metre rule gets plenty of use in physics practicals, from measuring distances in motion experiments to scaling up diagrams on the board. The large figures on the half-metre ruler are easy to read from the back of the class during a demonstration.
