The MICROLIT SCITUS bottle top dispenser (BTD) is a precision liquid handling tool for safely measuring and dispensing set volumes of liquid straight from a chemical storage bottle.

It comes with five adapters that fit most laboratory reagent bottles, in 28mm, 32mm, 38mm, 40mm and 45mm sizes.

A telescoping intake tube, which you can adjust to suit different bottle sizes, is included in the box.

The dispenser has three main innovations:

  • Springless Valve®: Removes the internal metal spring found in traditional dispensers, which prevents metal contamination and keeps the liquid flowing smoothly.
  • EasyKnob®: An easy volume adjustment knob that lets you set and lock your target volume quickly and precisely.
  • FlexiNozzle®: An adjustable, flexible delivery nozzle that gives you good control over the angle when dispensing into your containers.

The error limits (accuracy and coefficient of variation) above relate to the nominal capacity (maximum volume) shown on the instrument. They were measured using distilled water at equilibrium, at an ambient temperature of 20°C, operating the dispenser smoothly and steadily. The error limits are in line with DIN EN ISO 8655-5.

Assured quality with ISO 8655 calibration: The MICROLIT SCITUS is calibrated in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory to ISO 8655 standards. A calibration certificate is included in the box, along with a calibration tool for quick in-lab recalibration.

A wide volume range: The MICROLIT SCITUS is made in six volume ranges (see the table above). Select the size you need from the options.

Autoclaving: The MICROLIT SCITUS is fully autoclavable at 121°C and 15 psi for 10 to 15 minutes.
