The microscope can magnify microscope slides up to 400x and has two sources of light, one LED light on the base of the microscope and one LED light on the neck of the microscope. The microscope can be powered by ether an AC adapter that is included or three 1.5 V batteries (batteries not included) enabling the student to use the microscope in-the-field. A must have for any student interested in microscopy.
