Plain Still Head (distillation head) is the central hub of a standard distillation assembly, connecting the boiling flask, the thermometer, and the condenser.

Plain still head made of high quality, heavy duty 3.3 borosilicate glass.

  • B14 thermometer socket inlet indicates the thermometer or top inlet is 14/23
  • B19 thermometer socket inlet indicates the thermometer or top inlet is 19/26
Key Features
  • Material: Heavy-duty 3.3 Borosilicate Glass, providing high resistance to thermal shock and aggressive chemicals.
  • Thermometer Socket: Standard B14 (14/23) or B19 (19/26) size at the top, designed to accept a thermometer via a Thermometer Adapter.
  • Design Features:
    • Angled Side-Arm: The side cone is angled to ensure distillate flows efficiently into a downward-sloping condenser.
    • Precision Joints: Interchangeable ground glass joints for a vacuum-tight seal.

Specifications

  • Material: Clear 3.3 Borosilicate Glass
  • Joint Size: Select from drop down
  • Brand: OMSONS
  • Product of India

Usage Tip

To get an accurate boiling point reading, position your thermometer so the bulb is just below the level of the side-arm junction. This ensures the thermometer is fully immersed in the rising vapor before it enters the condenser.
