These bottles are designed to store sensitive chemicals, reagents, or culture media without the container material leaching into or reacting with the contents.

 

Key Features 

  • Neutral Glass: The industry standard for high-level chemical resistance. It has high hydrolytic stability, making it ideal for storing acidic, neutral, and slightly alkaline products.
  • Polypropylene (PP): A popular plastic alternative that is "neutral" in its lack of reactivity with many aqueous solutions and is autoclavable at 121°C.
  • Screw Mouth Design: Often features GL45, ensuring a leak-proof, airtight seal to prevent evaporation or contamination. Both screw cap and pouring ring are autoclavable.
  • Cap & Pouring Ring: Typically supplied with a blue polypropylene screw cap and a drip-free pouring ring to ensure safe transfers.
  • Optical Options:
    • Clear: For maximum visibility and inspection of contents.
  • Graduations: Most include permanent white or molded volume markings for approximate measurement.
