The OMSONS Reduction Adapter (Catalog No. 165) is the inverse of the expansion adapter. It connects a larger neck (socket) to a smaller component (cone), with a small socket at the top and a large cone at the bottom.

It's made from Borosilicate 3.3 glass for high thermal resistance and chemical durability, manufactured to DIN 12257 and ISO 383, with precision ground glass joints for a leak-proof, vacuum-tight assembly.
