Short Path Distillation System 5L

This 5L short path distillation kit is supplied with a digital heating mantle. Short path distillation is a simple technique in which the distillate travels only a short distance. It is carried out under vacuum, which lowers the boiling point of the liquid.

The vacuum pump and vacuum tubing are not included.

North American glassware joints are slightly different, as that region uses 'A' cones, sometimes referred to as 'TS' joints. These have the same XX value as European joints but different YYs. The most common versions come from a mix of the medium-length and full-length scales: 14/20 (A14), 19/22 (A19), 24/40 (A24) and 29/42 (A29).
