Spectrum Tube

These spectrum tubes are high quality and designed for power supplies holding 26cm spectrum tubes, with a large 10cm capillary in the centre for a greater viewing area.

They're designed for operation intervals of 30 seconds, and should be used for 30 seconds on / 30 seconds off. Intended for intermittent use only, not as a lamp source. These tubes effectively demonstrate the spectral lines of pure substances, and require a spectrum tube power supply.

When students view the lighted tube through a spectroscope, they can observe the unique set of spectral lines for each gas:
