Volumetric Flask CLASS A - Batch Cert

This Class A volumetric flask is supplied with a batch certificate and a polyethylene stopper. Volumetric flasks, also known as measuring flasks or graduated flasks, are calibrated to contain a precise volume at a certain temperature, and are used for precise dilutions and preparation of standard solutions.

The flask is pear-shaped with a flat bottom, and its mouth is fitted with a joint for the stopper. The neck is elongated and narrow, with an etched ring graduation marking that indicates the volume of liquid contained when the flask is filled up to that point. The marking is typically calibrated "to contain" (marked "TC" or "IN") at 20 °C, and the label also indicates the nominal volume, tolerance and precision class.
