The volumetric flask is made of high-quality, heavy-duty polypropylene plastic. Each flask features a screw cap. Transparent with easy to read, blue printed graduation. Very good chemical resistance, autoclavable up to 121°C.

Polypropylene plastic can hold hot liquids but not be used over an open flame or electric hot plate. They are not suitable for use with strongacids, strong bases, or strongsolvents that are known to degrade plastic. How to know?, if a chemical is sold in a glass chemical amber bottle, the chemical may not be compatible with Polypropylene plastic.

Polypropylene volumetric flasks are used in laboratories for precise dilutions and the preparation of standard solutions. They perform the same basic function as traditional glass volumetric flasks, but offer key advantages in specific use cases due to their polypropylene construction.
